Closely Related Relitives To Elephants

Elephants are closely related to Sea cows, Hyraxes,Tenrecs, ardvarks and Elephant shrews. Scientist believe that elephants are related to all these animals because they share similar qualities of their toe nails. Also scientist believe that they are related because of their similar teeth and similarities in leg and feet bones. All of these animals are a part of  the Afotheres group.
